Provenance Townhomes Announced as First Project.

When people think of building a home, words like challenging, intimidating, and chaotic often come to mind.  With so many decisions from lot selection all the way down to the color of the door knobs, the home building process is full of detail.  The fact of the matter is that the home building process consists of hundreds of different activities performed by many different contractors over an extended period of time.  While this can be a daunting task, our goal is to make the overall building experience exciting, fun, and fulfilling.   The attention to detail and customer service you will receive from us before, during, and after the construction of your home is second to none.

We value the look of each of our communities and take pride in carefully selecting only the best in real estate.  Our staff carefully combs the greater Shreveport- Bossier metroplex with a detailed criteria list, and figures out what type of product and look will make each subdivision the best it can be.  After closing on the land, the development begins with the clearing of the land and construction of the streets and drainage.  After the utilities go in and the inspection is complete, we then take aim at making the vacant land into a masterpiece.

Our careful planning continues with the selection of the house plans.  Our staff takes into consideration all of wants and needs of the modern day homeowner, and blends them with traditional types of design.  After numerous reviews and alterations with an architect, the plans for the community are born.  These plans will remain as the structures that fill the community.  This is the point that “semi-custom” homebuilding is born.  While the floorplans and elevations chosen for the subdivision remain, each individual “customizes” their home by picking the color and style of all the finish materials that make up the finished product.

Each homeowner may choose their color in items from bricks and shingles all the way to paint and light fixtures.   With so many colors and styles to choose from, our friendly staff is there to help you choose what you want.  Samples of material types and color are available for your convenience at the time of your color selection.  For those of you who have trouble deciding on the overall look of the house, the services of an interior decorator will be made available at no cost to you.  Along with the many color options of your home, you will also be given the chance to choose from our list of possible upgrades.  Things like Jacuzzi tubs, additional appliances, and custom lanscaping will be made available to you for an added price to your home.  This process of “semi-custom” homebuilding allows us to maintain the vital look and structure of the community, while allowing you all of the personal touches you want in a home.

After choosing a floorplan and a location for your home, the construction process begins.  The entire process takes months to complete, and factors like weather and material demand play a huge role in finishing the job quickly.  With our team of experienced supervisors on site during construction, our goal is to provide you a home in a prompt, effective, and efficient manner.  The on-site supervisors are there to answer questions you may have during the entire construction process.

Once you move into your new home, we will continue to make your home buying endeavor a pleasant experience.  Upon moving in, you will receive our Homeowner’s Guide that will explain how to care for and maintain the working parts of your home.  The Guide will include such things as a glossary of general construction terms, maintenance checklists, and warranty information.  Familiarizing yourself with the glossary terms will help you understand the maintenance items necessary to keep your home in good working order.  The warranty information will describe items and situations that are covered under warranty, and the steps you will need to take in order to get those items resolved as quickly as possible.  Our staff will remain in contact with you long after the homebuilding process ceases.
